Even though we love the villa we're renting right now, I can't wait to buy our own place. Isn't it wonderful to be able to put your stamp on a house and make it comfortable and pleasing to your senses.

I know I'll have to paint, scrape wallpaper, clean, scrub and sanitize. I know there will be endless hours of mowing and trimming of the yard and shrubbery. I am prepared to some consignment shopping to get the staples we will need to start housekeeping. All these things are part of being a homeowner and I will gladly do them and more.

Your enthusiasm is lovely. I can tell you are very happy with your move to Florida. At my age, I couldn't begin to start over, but I'm so happy you are young enough to do it.
Can't wait to see what you accomplish. Very exciting.
