  • Bouganvilla

Last fall I had to move the Bouganvilla from the front of our house to the back garden in order to rescue it. It was near death because of the dry, sandy soil and lack of water. It started getting new growth almost immediately and has really improved 100%, but it was not getting much sun. Yesterday I transplanted it back to the front, but I put it where it can climb, has better soil and can be watered often. This rain will do it proud and before too long it will be blooming again. Yeah! Also, where I planted it there will be ample sunshine.

I also put a trellis over it, (handmade tomato cage turned upside down) and that will keep it corralled until it climbs up over the garage door. Oh won't those blooms be lovely?
