  • How to make 'Snow' for cards and ornaments

    ______________ SNOW_______________
You will need: Epsom Salts, a bottle of crafting glue, a sponge paint brush, some silver glitter and several sheets of newspaper to make clean-up easy.

Make your card, ornament, or picture and anywhere that you want snow to appear on it add some glue and spread it out with a sponge brush, leaving enough glue to hold the Epsom Salt. Add the Epsom Salt sparingly so that it all sticks to the glue. Now sprinkle the glitter on top of the whole thing so that it catches in between the Epsom Salt and glue. Let it dry and voila!

This is perfect for making a snowman look real or putting on paper stars to make them sparkle and shine. I made my ornaments last year and due to storing them in the very hot garage the snow didn't stick too well, but I just knocked off the loose snow and they still look ok. You can redo them if you want to recycle them. Paula the kids will love it.
