I had an Avocado tree coming up in my garden from the compost and it was time to transplant it out of there. I moved it under a 15 ft tree so it will have protection from frost. The frost would kill it I think. I'm not sure about that, but don't want to take a chance and don't want to keep it inside in winter.
It takes a long time to get fruit from an Avocado tree, but we love guacamole so it's worth it to me. Hope the little gem survives.
