We got a gully washer here last night and it cooled things down pronto. I won't have to water today.

Karlin... my daughter has been on vacation the last ten days... before she left she brought her two big hanging baskets of blue petunias mixed with something red and white... and hung them on the under side of my deck.... I have watered them every day..... and they are gorgeous...may not let her take them home
one year I planted impatients ... they take endless amounts of waters..... so I switched to marigolds and geraniums...both don't seem to mind the drier weather... .
