The repairman says the pilot for the freezer was not cutting off. In other words the freezing part just kept going full blast. That is why my lettuce, bread, etc. was freezing. Even in the crisper in the bottom. Personally I was hoping for a new fridge, but it looks as if he is fixing the problem. BBL

Mine doesn't seem to be cooling enough. Checked and the vents from the freezer to the fridge were blocked. Am hoping that cures it....really don't need any other big bills right now.Good friends are like diamonds...precious and rare. -
