Cut Worms

I hate these worms. They are in the ground when I dig in the garden. Right now they are on my porch every morning making a mess. I don't know why they come onto the porch, but they leave an awful mess trying to get themselves back to the yard I guess. Who knows, but they are nasty. I have to scrub the porch with that oxygen power stain remover to get the mess off. For crying out loud. Does anyone know how to get rid of them. I'm going to spray out there with some high power bug/pest spray and see if that works. Here goes. Oh, BTW, I picked one up to throw it back into the yard and it pinched my finger with it's pinchers. That little devil. It hurt.
