Good morning Rounders! My String Trimmer package was setting on the front porch yesterday morning. I was out there watering my Poinsettia's. Three out of 4 survived, but I can see that I'll need to water them until the rain comes. All my packages came, and they don't even ring the doorbell when they drop it off, so I can see how stuff gets stolen.

Yesterday's PT session was great. He had a different PT instructor and he started putting dh through the paces. The good news is that dh's insurance will pay for the ankle brace. Hurrah! All it took was that initial phone call on Thursday.

I made coleslaw, salmon, and mashed potatoes for dinner. I think tonight will be soup and grilled cheese, but we are having hot dogs for lunch. I will make more coleslaw to go with the ribs on Monday. I don't know about Sunday.?

It got much hotter than 91 yesterday and it will get much hotter than today's projected 96. Here's some heat coming your way Jostoy. You sure have been busy up there.

All upcoming appts. for me and dh are early morning. Yippee ki yi a!

That's all I got. Have a good one. Peace & Plenty.

    Good morning everyone.

Got all the shelves made for the garage cabinets and then emptying the last of the totes in the garage. I THINK I'm about done now with the house and garage.

I went out at 10 something and came in the house at 3:15. Takes a while to clean up the saw dust and put everything away like the drop cord, saw, measuring tape, and etc.Sat for about 2 hours then went out at 6 to mow. Got that done and was ready to watch the 8 p.m. show, which didn't come on. Some other "crap" took the place of my Hawaii 5 0. So I watched National Geo. Wild. Wasn't bad as it had vets taking care of sick and injured little doogies.

Today...will probably go to the shed and empty that 1 remaining box out there. Also need to hoe around my tomato plants. If I can get that done before the storms move in.

    Everyone have a great day.

      Good morning. ☕️
Yesterday we found a post on E’s Legacy page. Older DD’s ex somehow found out that E died. He left a cruel message in one word. “Cheers”. Yes, he signed his name. I think he still lives in FL. Actually, the guy stalks people....he just hasn’t gotten caught. Another DD asked the newspaper if that posting could be eliminated. No answer, no action. Insanity does run in his family.

I’m tired. I was sneezing all day yesterday. And I feel cold. We should get to 89° today.
i took a sleep aid last night, and got 6.5 hours of sleep. I need another good sleep.

hope your day is a very good one. ☀️

Good SUNNY Morning! The WW say it's suppose to storm this afternoon. Humidity is really high this morning, so the 75 degrees feels like mid-80's.

Yesterday was sort of productive. I got the laundry all done. Stripped my bedding and washed it all. Got to hang it outside to dry. Oh did it smell good in bed last night. Got the sugar cookies all iced.

Blaise had karate. Right afterwards I took him to his BF BD party at the local roller rink. Blaise doesn't know how to skate, and he still doesn't. I slipped down to Sharp Shopper while he was there and they had their eggs for $.50/doz. Picked up 6 doz.

This morning was garage sale day. Most everything I got was for Blaise. Got his winter coat for this coming year.

Blaise has requested lasagna and homemade cottage cheese bread. That's going to be supper. He's going to help me make the bread. Nothing else really planned, but that can all change in a moment.

        Have a good one all!

Good morning and glad you can say that, too, Jo!

It would seem like you should be able to delete something like that remark...I am just so sorry for all of you to have to experience that.

Last night's Shasta College graduation started and the graduates were all out on the filed when a storm came through: lightening and a Tornado warning! they paused the ceremony and then said they would reschedule it...the tornado warning made it too dangerous to stay.
Although, the warning was for I-5 corridor between REdding and Anderson, so not sure how and whre people would shelter.
I have friends who posted huge hailstones (bigger than a golf ball) on Facebook last night during this time. One had a picture of a broken greenhouse window; all had photos of people holding the hail and one had some with his keys to show how big they were. This year is one for the books! the warning was lifted about 40 minutes after it first came up and just before it all started Becky and I had driven over to the city park and were pointing out the huge clouds and weird feel of the air. That should have been my first clue; there was always a strange feeling to the air before a hurricane or different weather system came in when we lived back East.

Today the temperature will be in the 70's. I have a facial at 8:30 and then we have to go up to the dealership. They forgot to have Becky initial (their mistake) a paper for HOnda saying she is using the 500.00 rebate for recent graduates as part of her down payment. And the salesman took her picture of her diploma, but the real business office needs a copy of it, so taking that up, too. I am going along for the ride and just to look at the new CRV's...

I hope you all have a good day. We are eating barbecue this weekend: ribs, chicken thighs and tri-tip. I have to buy the watermelon and other food when I get back from Redding...

          See you all later!

Good morning...suppose to rain. Surprise! Jon is going to set up the pool and has no help so I am going to stay in my jams as long as I can. I do not swim in that pool so do not feel the urgency to help set it up.

Sierra called and ask me to pick up a script for her then I will run it to work and meet her. It is a long drive for me but all I have planned for the weekend. I have two places on my top lip the derma froze off and you do not so that to people with allergies. I have broken both of them so now need a bandaid. Looks like I have a mustache!

Isn't this weather something? All of you seem to be having extreme weather events. I did not know California had tornadoes...just a curse of the midwest! The flood walls are back up around here and highways closed again. The downtown casino was reopened and is now closed again after 7 days. Nothing seems normal anymore. I do wish as a country we could get our crap together and work on the climate change. The farmers are not in their fields but then guess there is no market for their crops anyway. More crappie politics.

Jostoy you need to slow down. Bet when you do relax you are thinking of what needs to be done. Good for Becky and her new car. Cookie do you search out these sales are just come upon them? I never find a sale! But I did buy a watermelon. It was so heavy I could not carry it up the steps so ANdrew's mom saw it sitting there and carried it in when she came for the kid. She said it was one dense watermelon. Good....thought I was feeling my age! Anyway it is obvious I cannot carve it up so will have to wait...makes a seasonal table decoration right now! It is one of those small seedless but weighed a ton. Jo, may your ex sil was toasting E? I would hate to think someone would write something hateful. That is pretty hurtful.

Well need to dress and start the day since it is already afternoon. Stay cool Karlinann. Have a wonderful day everyone...

Do you mean garage sales or grocery sales? Garage sales we find in the newspaper/FB/drive by & see signs. Grocery...I see the ads, though at Sharp Shopped many times it's timing. I was there a few days ago, and the eggs were $1/doz, and then last night they were $.50/doz. They aren't outdated either. The other day they lowered the price of the cartons of apple juice from 2/$1 to 3/$1, so I scooped up all that I saw. Corky goes thru it like crazy.

            good afternoon..

A First today.... DAvid rode along to the Meat Market store.. then....... we went to Kings resturant to eat .... He always gets breakfast there. we have our favorite servers... have not been there for almost 3 months... Rose ,Our server, was worried.. did not know any one she could ask or call about us.... so we exchange phone numbers .. just in case .. David got in and out with his 4 prong cane.. except for being tired. , it was nice to be out...

I too am poking around the garage, and tossing all sorts of Junk away.. in fact I am poking around in all sorts of places ,drawers. files. books...Must discard some more of them..think I will start on the dishes... give away to Grands and family, friends , some of the Keepsake kind. there is a song with a line in it..." the days grow short when you reach Sept,,,",( oct, november).. and you see you are living in December,

however ,, today is the only day we each have.. so lets make merry and laugh a lot.. Watching my little GreatGranddaughter is a super deluxe joy...
Maxie, Donna has become the Queen of Yard sales.. She does not hesitate to offer less for everything.!!! thats my girl!..
and that is how I got about 10 bushels of yard!... Im still crocheting it up...

Have never got my email set up and working yet... I need a genius Grandkid to show up and do it... It seems my name and password are wrong.. and I have no idea how to correct it.. so If you have emailed me and I did not respond , I will someday when I get a kid here to help.

time to check on the "old" person. think he is sleeping..again... sigh.. if he would just stay awake in the daytime,, we might both get to sleep all night ... see you all later .....

Funny that we are so dependent on our grands for these gadgets. Both my cell and computer! When I got the new computer a few months ago Sierra set it all up and then wanted passwords. Who knows passwords? So she set up all new ones and then programmed into my cell phone so I would have them close. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to look them up! These kids are born knowing all this stuff....
