Aunt Maye it was good to see your post. It reminded me of my own self blowing up because my doc was late one morning and I was left waiting in the room forever. He explained to me that they held him up at the hospitals, (there are 3 in the area) and he got there asap. I apologized and I will never say anything again if he is late, but that day I was so upset that I just had to say something. I have worked for different doctor's offices and I know they allow 15 minute intervals for appts. They are on a tight schedule, but if they are slow it would put them way behind. I feel for you.
Due to my type of managed care insurance plan I cannot cancel the Statin med. The nurse called yesterday and told me that if I did send it back that my insurance company could and would withhold all of my Rx's, (I'm also taking Lisinopril) in the future. They have been cracking down on patients and my PCP is not a pill pusher, in fact he took me off a med when I first saw him in 2013. I love that about him. So, they can mail me that pill all they want, but I'm still not taking it. I have heard horror stories about that med.
Yesterday was gorgeous and I transplanted some Pink Baby's Breath, weeded the garden a bit, got some sun on my face and just enjoyed being out there for awhile. Last year I had only one Cleome plant that came up from the whole packet of seeds I sowed. It gave forth hundreds of seeds and I collected most of them and just threw some of them down all over the place. So, 3 of those seeds I threw down are now going to seed and they bloomed all winter and gave me such joy and all those seeds I dropped are coming up and I'm going to have the beautiful pink Cleome plants all around the yard. I will transplant some of those tiny seedlings onto the bank today. Oh, won't it be a pretty sea of pink along that bank?
We have a window guy coming today to give us an estimate. None of our windows are double paned, they are old, worn out, and leaking moisture around them and it's causing mold. It's only 4 windows that need replaced, but depending on what kind of deal he offers we may do the big one in the living room. It faces the sunrise and is blue blazin' hot in summer.
DH started walking yesterday around the Cul De Sac. Starting out small. He says he is going to the fitness room and start working out to regain muscle strength. Good for him!
Today is DH's birthday and we will go to lunch. I took us to lunch yesterday, but our waitress gave us water and then just forgot us. We had to finally get up and leave and I told the other waitress why we were leaving. That upset me and it took me awhile to get over it. How do they stay in business? And the hostess was so lame. We greeted her before she greeted us, and she spoke so low and so s l o w. It was the new Piesano's and we will never go back there. That was our 3rd time to visit. The first time was wonderful, the 2nd time was not very good, and yesterday was terrible. They will not stay in business long if that is what they are about. The last pizza place that occupied that building was awful too. On the way home we noticed that all along the main highway they are getting ready to build more strip malls, shopping centers, etc. I told dh many months ago that in 10 years that whole area will be commercialized. The thing is they have one already built since last summer and it is still empty. Prettiest little strip shopping center you ever saw, but not one shop open for business.
Maybe we will go to the park and see all the Camellia's and Azalea's in bloom. I'll be back later to read what you wrote. Peace & Plenty.
