door is open , table is set.. coffee, tea, cocoa ready... have a seat!

    Good Morning
..... yesterday was a long day.!.... the baton school is also dance school.... and they did all the dance variety competition first. much much too much loud music!...... I do like to watch baton and after 19 years of watching competitions ,I could almost be a judge ......some very good... the little wee ones are cute , I can almost pick out the
ones who will be great later on .... my great-niece Lindsey was in a group and she is outstanding!... set with her Dad who is new to this activity.. ( and boring for him)... since Lindsey is in third grade ,, I kidded him that he only had nine more years of watching at these competitions... his stunned expression said it all... when it is your only little girl,, you go, whether you want to or not... was weary when I got home.. my Granddaughters dance group did win first place and her baton group came in second.. she won a first in Modeling .. ( teaches them how to walk gracefully).

heading out for lunch... not sure where.. but beats cooking and cleaning up.

Hi to you all.I will be back ..

No one here...must be a day full of activities that require early starts? I slept in a little but need to get moving since I have an afternoon of hockey and baseball. The remote will be getting a workout. No cooking or laundry or planting or anything for us. Need to play car switching games with Sierra later. She has an appointment for hers tomorrow afternoon but the she will still be in school at the appointment time so she will take my car and I will handle hers. Lots of driving but mommy dearest doesn't want to be disturbed with any of it. So I drive miles out of my way to get cars switched today and then again tomorrow. That mommy is quite the, oh, wait, I can't use that word here...but still she is beloved by her daughter. Has gotten in to the 80s the last two days and it is wonderful. I have had sun on my head! I even dug out a pair of capris and a short sleeve shirt. To think summer warmth could be here permanently is no longer a dream! Need to get an appointment for my first summer pedi! To all you sleepy heads and early movers and shakers...have a great one and hope it is as beautiful a day for you as it has been here.

        Good morning everyone.
.esle gnihtyna ro srehcaelb no gnittis taht lla ekat dluow Maye, don't think my back

Now tell me how my keyboard started typing backwards up above. (read backwards from the "maye" .

Anyway....Maxie think positive about that x-daughter-in-law. Just ignore her and you will be able to keep your sanity.

Got home yesterday about 11A.M. and started mowing as soon as I got the car unloaded. By the time I finished, I was almost sweating with my blue jeans on. .Didn't realize that it was 80 out or I would have put on some shorts.

Today I am not planning on doing anything. My back is hurting so much that I think I'll give it a rest. I still have 10 days to go before I see the spine specialist. Can't wait to get an injection to clear this pain. Just hope that Medicare has approved the surgery I need to stop the injections so often.

About all I have to gab about so will just wish all a good day.

Good Morning, think I may be almost caught up with my sleep. The weather is great here too. We sat outside on the back porch for awhile yesterday, well we sat in between Kenny working on rewiring the truck from Fred's second chewing of the wires. I think maybe just maybe Kenny will listen when I tell him "Don't park where he can reach them" this time. Silly dog loves to chew plastic so they were right up there with something he loves to chew on.

Will have to run to the store today, gave the cats the last of the cat food this morning. Of course both were acting like they were starving and would perish before I got done going potty, but neither one ate all their food. I think the Ebil one missed me, if I sit down in the recliner she is right on top of me purring as loud as she can, I go to bed and she is right on top of me. Guess she is making sure that if I get up she can watch to make sure I don't go out the door.

Everyone have a great day and enjoy whatever your plans are.

            Good morning.
No excuses for me......I'm just late today. Flipped through the newspaper.
No plans in particular here. I need to get my hospital paperwork ready for this week. I had the days wrong, but the dates right, so Tuesday the Port gets put in, and Wednesday the chemo begins.

Am starting to walk a little better. But can't stand for too long without repercussions. But it's a beginning. E watches me like a hawk so I don't fall. Had to tell him to let me at least try to get on with doing normal things, so they will become normal again. So he backed off some, but still watches.

I wonder why Medicare only covers a 20-day supply of colostomy items a month? Still looking for the "right" style/brand items; not all are reliable, and may leak or burst. So one bag ideally should last 3 days; seems to me that 2 days is max. I wish Medicare would get real.

Well, I have some emails to take care of. See ya later.
            Have a beautiful day!

I remembered I had to be at an early meeting right in the middle of shampooing, so that meant no relaxing getting ready Sunday morning. I had already eaten breakfast, thank heaven or I probably would have skipped it.
Sitting in church, waiting to lead the music.
              Nothing planned today.
              Have a great day!

                Hey all!

Yesterday went GREAT once I calmed myself down. Corky & Blaise followed me over to the school and helped unload the car (the coolers were full of drinks & ice) and helped put up my tent. I had already cooked the first round of hot dogs and taco meat, so that when people started arriving early, I was sort of prepared for them. People were very patient and I had a good time. I did fine by myself and since I sold a majority of what I brought, it was much lighter and smaller reloading the car. Got home a little bit before 9pm. Corky had stayed up to help me unload the car.

This morning after church & SS, I stayed and helped serve the lunch for the Mission Encounter team and their guests. I see a nap in my future. Going to my SIL to play cards tonight with my Mom and friend Sandy. I had 3 pc of pie leftover yesterday, so I'm taking them for the other ladies tonight.

                Have a good one all!

Jostoy ,,, amazing ,but I did read your message although it be backwards....I just wish my computer would quit spelling words wrong!grr I feel i aspend way toome much time corsection.. ..

don't you just hate to rush around on Sunday mornings... when I had the four kids to get ready for Sunday school.. ( david was always working some shift where he could not help)... and get us there on time .. did not feel very "Christian-y"... most of the time....

I feel for Ellis..... Jo...I keep an eye on David.. his legs are still "weak"... and I do not want him to take a fall especially steps.. and I grumble on Friday when he wanted and did take the mower blades off to sharpen.... laying on the grass to reach them..... He should not have done that!... the neighbor saw him and ended up helping ... all he needs is a quick call ,text message to son #1 or son #3.. they would have come. no lasting consequences except his back ached .. so go slow .....little progress at a time .. it will come.. ( btw, I love to nag)

Hi Darla , BEthina ,,,, And latecomers to the table....
MAXIE .. Seirra's Mommy is beloved because she does not do the serious disciplining .and teaching and running after Daughter... Lets send Donnas Kathy to live with the ......that word you did not use... ....not sure I would even want K. there..

Thanks, maye for responding. Guess no one else reads my posts. Not worth the time it takes me to type one out.

Jostoy, I do read your posts, too, and enjoy them. Lately I'm not too good about responding to everyone.
I'm kinda wrapped up in my post-surgery situation, trying to get used to the changes. Then my chemo begins this week, and I'm hoping it doesn't drag me out too badly. I'll try to do better. Don't stop posting....you have quite an interesting life.
