    Hello Out There ~~~~

We are just past the halfway mark in the month, and we've had 7" of rain so far. More fell overnight. When I saw Spring Green, WI, when we visited Jackie, I thought I had never seen a place so green and gorgeous. We are almost that green and gorgeous here (for a change.) Feeling blessed.

No plans for the day. No leftovers, so I'll see what the freezer has to offer. Have a LOT of fish to choose from: Tilapia, Trout, Catfish, Lobster. Guess it's fish today.

Hope all is well. Have a very good Saturday, Everyone.

We are getting the remnants of that rain too, Elaine. Once again, all the lakes and ponds are filled and it's wonderful!

Working this morning for a few hours to get my operating statements out for the month.

Otherwise, no news here. Y'all have a good 'un!
The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

Good Morning...and it is a beauty outside...love watching spring "pop" up and heard the birds singing..and the sunrises are beautiful.

Elaine glad you are getting to enjoy all the 'green' also.
Pat get the work done then enjoy the weekend.
Aunt Maye, glad you live close enough to enjoy the grandkids..sure you and Dee will have plenty to talk about. But your back and butt will scream at you tomorrow..need a stadium seat to take with you.
No plans here, maybe start stocking the motorhome and unwinterizing it and getting it road ready. Started a Prednisone taper yesterday hope to feel good enough today to do a little more...Between the Crohn's and having to stay close to the bathroom and the rheumatoid arthritis in my feet and other joints keeping me from doing much walking I have been house bound since coming back from GA. Hate taking Prednisone but couldn't take it anymore so I called the Dr. its another two weeks before my next Remicade infusion and that was just to long to wait...they are saying I might have to get them every 6 wks. now instead of every 8 wks. When I feel good I try to do all that I can..LOL
Well off the find something to eat for breakfast. Have a wonderful weekend one and all.
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God

          Good Saturday morning, friends.
I got up late today, and expected to see more posts. One of those days, I woke at 3 a.m., at 4:30 I decided I might as well get up....then, Wham! I'm asleep when I finished that thought!

E got that hole dug, finally, and we planted the tree. At 2 or 2-1/2 ft, he broke through the caliche and rock, and the hole drank the water we'd filled it with to hopefully soften the ground. We hit "real dirt!"
So I used a whole bag of bio-mulch to plant that tree in, and topped it with some of the dry dirt on top.
Maybe next year we'll do more with the west side of the house. E said he'd rent a jackhammer to loosen the ground there.

Today should reach the low 80°'s. Sunny & hot, but not too bad yet. Not looking forward to the sizzling summer. Sure wish we could get a good rain.

Don't have particular plans today yet. Need my tea, and thinking of breakfast.

          Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning...One word for yesterday....CRAZY! I had been having issues with my cast being too loose...So I decided that I would see if the local transport shuttle has the Ortho Center on their stop list...well they do and its about 30 minutes from here....I called my mother to tell her that I was going to have my cast changed...found out that was on her way to Marion to be with Granny who was being taken by ambulance to the hospital...Her blood pressure was up and she had a bad head ache. By the time that I got done with what I needed to do in mount vernon and was on the bus coming back and called mom was already home granny was ok and back at the rehab facility...I called my mother a few hours later...only to find out she and her brother that lives with her where on their way back to Marion. Granny was being rushed to the hospital again this time with chest pains. Mom got home around 2 after seeing that granny was transfered to where she wanted to be. She will go back today and they will run test all day. Today Daddy and I are going to the wedding of friends that all 3 of us were supposed to be attending...Dad says we will not stay for the reception..I will try to talk him into getting ice cream or something after the wedding.

              Good morning all!

Busy morning ahead for me. Will go to Bim's apartment with a load of empty boxes from Safeway, some newspapers and will pack up all his extra kitchen stuff. He must have about 20 coffee mugs and other stuff that people give him. He doesn't know how to say no. After we get that packed up will drop it all off at Good Will and then will go out to lunch. Not sure what I shall be doing this afternoon but I'll think of something. If the weather is nice might hose off my patio furniture and then paint the bottoms with Rustoleum as I have noticed they leave rust spots. Have known I'm going to do this so brought back a ratty old paint spattered tee shirt to paint in as I am a very messy painter.

              Have a good day all!

Good morning! I have been up about 1/2 hour but Facebook has pictures of my grandson Boone in Japan who turned 9! I have been a little worried about them but they haven't said anything so I was enjoying the birthday pictures. Things feel a little off, and it just makes my mother's worry button kick on!
Today is our Round Up parade and because we have our Favorite spot to park and watch it, it means going up town about an hour early to watch. Our place to watch is the beginning of the parade so it is also the first place to see the end of the parade and then the first to get out and get home. Police will be directing all the traffic.
It is the real beginning to barbecue season here. I have been cleaning our barbecue area over by the pool...now if the pool service would get us back on its schedule, it will look good.
Gotta go curl my hair; I have a cute visor for today, so it doesn't take much lto get ready. We stand/sit on the sunny side of the street. With the temperature and the sun today will be a warm one at the rodeo.
                Enjoy your day!

Hey all! It's a beautiful sunny day here.

Yesterday Blaise had an appointment at Portrait Innovations to get his picture taken for his 5th birthday which is coming up in a couple of weeks. I missed getting his picture taken in his 4th year...bad...I know. I'm a complete sucker when it comes to buying pictures. I got the smallest package they offer, but it's still expensive. He loved posing for the photographer. We then met Corky for lunch. Corky then took Blaise home with him, and I went grocery shopping. Yesterday was a very expensive day. I got home & puttered around putting everything away, then I went to a Essential Oils meeting. Didn't get home until 8:45pm. Had a nice time. Learned a few new things.

This morning I woke up around 6:45 and thought I'd lay there for a couple more minutes. I kept drifting in & out of sleep & didn't truly surface until 9am...that's unheard for me! Got my butt in gear & got a turkey on roasting. I then went to the gym. Came home and packaged up a new shower facet set for the house in Bradford. We got a call from the plumber yesterday and he also couldn't get the thingy to come out and said when they welded the stuff of, the previous person ended up melting some of the plastic parts. Something so simple was now going to cost us big bucks to fix. Corky decided he's go back & do it himself. He called out friends back there and ask if they'd mind him staying a night after he got the job done. They ended up offering to do it for us. How nice is that? Corky had already bought the faucet set and I packaged it up along with some other things and sent that off to them. We are so blessed!

Corky just mowed the yard for the second time. Our lawns are very lush this year. I'm going to start preparing the rest of the stuff for a very basic turkey dinner. One of the girls in MOPS had another miscarriage and they were asking for volunteers to take in meals to them. They are a family of 8 who are gluten free. That eliminates a lot of possibilities. So I'm doing turkey, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I can't even make gravy. I may make some coleslaw. Of course we'll have the same for our dinner. Need to start the laundry also. Thank goodness it's sunny...gives me more energy.

                  Have a good one all!

Elaine...waiting for those pictures! Bethina...sorry about your granny...how's your mom doing? Sharon....Shelby is a good destination for a maiden voyage with your motor home!

back home. setting in lounging clothes..
. was a long set on bleachers... we go to the top and lean back against the wall. with pillow under the butt.... was good viewing and the older girl groups were fun to watch.... our Local senior group was just fantastic... then our escorts left us kind of stranded.....they were helping their girls get dressed. etc etc.. since Dee and I can't to steps that have no Bannister... I texted to both my Dau. and Dees; DIL.... help, help,, we are in need of bathroom.... no answer . setting near me was a friend and her gd daughter.. so we got the Granddaughter to help us get down... saw our Kin coming down the hall for us.. ... when you gotta go, you gotta go. .. we ate the concession stand offerings.. and when we went in for the afternoon performance ,we found seats on lower seats......... by 3.30 I was ready to come home...have done this now for 20 years.... and have 4 more to go.. God Willing I will be there to see Bethany strut her stuff..

hope you get to feeling better Boff...
Donna , Blaise pictures are adorable!..

Maye, I thought of you today during the parade everytime a group of twirlers marched by. the senior girls were very good! Saw some things I had not seen before. Really good throwing and catching with turns and such. We were at the beginning of the parade route and everyone was fresh, not tired or hot yet.
